Thanks to donations and legacies, the League of Friends Musgrove Park Hospital has recently been able to support requests from the hospital for equipment and developments at Musgrove Park totalling half a million pounds.

Chairman of the League of Friends, Peter Renshaw, said that donations from the public and legacies during the year have enabled the League of Friends to fund a Spinal Table in Orthopaedic, Imaging equipment in Urology to aid prostate diagnosis and treatment plus grants for the new Macular Treatment Centre

The funding will enable Musgrove Park Hospital to purchase state of the art equipment benefitting patients and staff

The League of Friends Musgrove Park Hospital is run by volunteers , thereby ensuring all donations and legacies are used to support the hospital. Peter also thanked the many organisations that had raised funds for the League of Friends during the year.

The League of Friends has been supporting the hospital for over 60 years which would not have been possible without the continuing support of the community
